I give no fucks about Anne’s warbly voice…it’s sung live and it sounds amazing. This trailer kicked my ass…I had to remember to keep breathing.

at first i was like “what the fuck anne” but now I love it because it’s so unapologetic, so real, so vulnerable. which is perfect for the song. And, i think, a new interpretation in the way she emphasizes the words

K - How do you feel about the other people in your current fandom

I’m really loving the people I’ve run into so far in the Avengers fandom! It’s almost a little like “Who’s who” night or something - I’m recognizing people from all sorts of other fandoms I’ve been in over the years, which is just awesome. And they’re creating some *really* amazing stuff right now. :D

Q - A ship you’ve abandoned and why

I started to say “what, me? Abandon a ‘ship?” but then the more I thought about it, I really have left some by the wayside. In most cases it’s because I’ve abandoned the fandom itself, but the one I’ve really just become rabidly against while still loving the fandom it’s in is Anita/Richard from Laurell K. Hamilton’s Anita Blake series. I was given “Lunatic Cafe” as an intro to the series, which was a terrible plan, but as Richard’s character has evolved, I’ve gone from loving him (seeing him through Anita’s eyes during those very early days) to really, really despising him for many of the things he’s said and done.
